The Fundamental Quantity is Physical Quantity that is not possible to express in other Physical Quantity.
These are also known as BASE Quantities.
The present SI has seven base quantities: time, length, mass, electric current, thermodynamic temperature, amount of substance, and luminous intensity.
These are used in expressing derived Quantities.
How ? The formula of Force = mass * acceleration = kg. m/s^2
Here the mass is a fundamental/base quantity used in deriving the quantity of force.
You can also relate it as Scalar quantities.
