What is momentum ?
The product of mass and velocity
P = mv
Now, if we want to find the rate of change, differentiate both side
It’s very simple, just divide it by second (unit of time)
Why ? Bcoz, it’s rate with respect to time
mass * velocity = kg m/s*s = kg m/s^2
Which is a unit of Force, SI unit being Newton
How?
Force =mass*Acceleration = kg m/s^2
