Asan Conservation Reserve is located in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand state in northern India. It is situated on the banks of Asan Barrage, which is a wetland ecosystem formed by the Asan River. The reserve covers an area of about 4.5 square kilometers and is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including over 300 species of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals.
