Andhra Pradesh is the largest producer of mica in India. In Andhra Pradesh, Nellore district is famous for mica production. It accounts for about 71% of total Mica production in India.
Rajasthan has occupied second place. The mines of mica are located in Bhilwara, Ajmer, and Rajsamand districts of the state.
Bihar comes in the third position. Mica production in the state is centred in the Nawada district.
