Intelligence Bureau (IB) ACIO Syllabus Exam pattern IB – Here we will discuss the detailed IB ACIO Syllabus and exam pattern. Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO), Grade-II/ Executive i.e. ACIO-II/Exe in IB, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India.
IB ACIO Grade-II / Executive Selection Process
The selection process of the Intelligence Bureau ACIO exam is divided into three phases which are given below. The IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II/ Executive Recruitment posts are subjected to All India Service Liability which means candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India.
1. Tier 1 (Phase-1)
2. Tier 2 (Phase-2)
3. Interview (Phase-3)
IB ACIO Tier 1 exam is basically a written objective type of exam. The candidates who will clear the Tier 1 exam, will then appear in the Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 exam is descriptive in nature and to pass the Tier 2 exam, candidates are required to score at least 33% marks (as per the rule). Based on Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam performances, candidates will be called for an interview for the final round of selection.
