Jharkhand has maximum amount of coal deposits(reserves), but Chattisgarh registers highest coal production followed by Odisha. Similarly, Jharia(Dhanbad) has maximum amount of coal deposits, but in terms of production, it may not be in top, reason being 1)these coals are not of a mature age(comparing to other deposits) 2) Due to lack of govt. intervention and domestic usage
